Using art to impact public health spaces

Ferozsons supported to initiate the first project in Karachi at the Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The project titled, Innovations in Public Space is done in collaboration with the Patient’s Aid Foundation, working at the JPMC for the benefit of poor patients.

Baithak is the name given to the revamped space which was an informal waiting area for patients. Artist Naima Chaudhry designed the space that provides shade from the sun, comfortable seating and access to water and other basic necessities.

This is just one of the many initiatives that planned by the LBF under Innovations in Public Space.
